Frequently Asked Questions
How have the temporary closures affected the Club employees?

We’ve had to make some very difficult decisions over the past few days – extremely hard and heart-wrenching. We have furloughed almost 50% of our Employees in both our clubs and home office. We continue to have thousands of Employees still serving our Members and maintaining our courses and clubhouses.

For our furloughed Employees, we have put several programs in place to try to ease the burden during this difficult time:

  • Benefits: The Employees remain on our Employee roster so we can easily bring them back to work as soon as possible. Health insurance benefits continue for those currently participating in our plan, and for those not on our plan, we have extended Teledoc services at a reduced cost.

  • Government Assistance: We are helping our Employees navigate the Unemployment filing process and the government programs now available.

  • Family Meals: This week, we will start providing all of our Employees impacted by the club closures a complimentary, weekly family meal.

  • Salary Reductions: For our salaried Employees that remain at the clubs serving our Members, we have implemented a temporary salary reduction. I also want to share that our corporate management team has taken a more significant pay reduction as we manage through this financial and medical crisis.

  • Employee Partners Care Foundation (EPCF):  The EPCF, which has been one of the three charities we raise money for each year at the Charity Classic, is working on programs to quickly help those Employees that are most in need. In the midst of everything that is happening, we’ve had many Members ask how they can help. Your care and concern for our Employees is deeply appreciated. You can visit to make a donation, and you can now designate your donation to go to the Employees of your Club.

We will continue to do everything we can to support our team.

What amenities are open?

We’re following all local and state mandates, which vary across the country. As more clarification is provided through the local jurisdictions, many of our golf courses are open for play, with additional guidelines and preventive measures in place, including required social distancing. Our golf courses provide acres of open space and an opportunity for Members to enjoy outdoor exercise. Tennis courts are also available in some locations with social distancing and additional preventive measures in place. This is a fluid situation and it changes quickly, requiring frequent pivots. Please watch for the updates from your Club.

Many of our clubs are also offering expanded to-go services. All menus will include a family meal option, as well as selections that are Member favorites.

How will membership be handled?

You should have received a detailed communication from your Club outlining the following:

  • Information on Usage Credits: We are issuing club usage credits based on your membership category and when amenities closed. Due to the extension of the social distancing order, we are expanding how these credits may be used to include numerous club services:

  • Food and Beverage (including alcohol)

  • Guest Fees

  • Cart Fees

  • Merchandise

  • Lessons

  • Member Events

  • Private Events

  • In addition to the club usage credit, a monthly loyalty credit will be issued to Members equal to 10% of the amount you spend on to-go services during the time we are closed.

  • Effective immediately, all Members with O.N.E. benefits will also receive the O.N.E. 50% discount on all to-go orders. This will remain in place until we fully reopen.

How can I stay connected with my Club?

Email and social media will continue to be your Club’s primary form of communication. We’re introducing new ways to connect and hope you join us for two upcoming special Facebook Live events on the ClubCorp Facebook page. The ClubLife mobile app is another way to stay in touch. In the app store on your mobile device, search for "ClubCorp" to download it and get the latest news from your Club when you're on the go.
